Air Quality Control Systems (AQCS)

Air Quality Control Systems (AQCS) is an Ecomagination* solution that can serve a waste-to-electricity project. Three main technology families are available for the flue gas treatment: dry, semi-dry, and wet systems. Nitrogen oxide (NOx) removal is carried out by one of the two following systems: an advanced selective non-catalytic reduction (SNCR) system for primary control or a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system that can also serve existing plants.
