GE Energy's Repower program offers a low cost alternative to owners of older power generation and mechanical drive equipment for improving performance and increasing power output of their gas turbine systems.

GE's Repower program presents the option of replacing older gas and steam turbine equipment with new, LM gas turbine technology as an alternative to purchasing a completely new gas turbine package and balance of plant.

Repowering existing gas turbine equipment allows the retention of existing plant infrastructure to minimize costs while achieving substantial improvements in thermal efficiency, power output, availability, emissions, fuel efficiency and capital cost savings. GE's unique universal driver package design, broad product range, technological expertise and extensive project experience combines to provide the optimal repower solution to best serve your growing power generation needs.

GE's universal driver package design allows for rapid installation over a wide range of power applications for any type of driven equipment. The driver package is designed as a drop-in replacement for gas and steam turbines from 18MW to 34MW.
