LM6000 SAC/DLE Level 1 Maintenance

What will I learn from this course?

This course will provide academic and practical hands-on instruction on selected maintenance procedures required to return a gas turbine to a serviceable condition by removal, replacement or adjustment of external parts.

Who should attend?

Owners, operators and customer personnel concerned with the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the GE LM6000 aeroderivative gas turbine.

Prerequisites

A basic understanding of your gas turbine or completion of the LM6000 Familiarization course is highly recommended, as well as a reasonable level of mechanical skill and use of hand tools is required. Instruction is given in English; therefore, a reasonable ability to read and understand spoken English is required.

Agenda
Day 1 Discussion of different levels of maintenance
  Use of applicable Operations and Maintenance manuals
Preventative maintenance and servicing

Day 2-5 Replacement of selected external components including variable geometry actuators,
  hydraulic control unit, VG pump, VBV doors and rigging of system if applicable, lubrication and
scavenge pump, pressure and temperature sensors, fuel nozzles, vibration accelerometers,
ignition components, starter, speed sensors, carbon seals, and external pipes and hoses.
