Daily Operations & Maintenance

This course is intended for customer personnel concerned with day-to-day on-site/shipboard operations and maintenance of the GE LM2500 aeroderivative gas turbine. The purpose of the training is to provide the knowledge required to ensure consistent, trouble-free performance from the engine and its associated equipment.

Course Content
  • General familiarization with basic gas turbine structures, functions, interfaces and operating characteristics
  • Engine airflow
  • Engine systems including lubrication, fuel, variable geometry, instrumentation and electrical
  • Use of the applicable GE operation and maintenance manual
Prerequisites
  • This course is offered to owners and operators, and the employees of owners of the LM2500 gas turbine.
  • As instruction is given in English, a reasonable ability to read and understand English is required.
