Diaphragm Inspection
  • Visually inspect diaphragm
  • Blast clean and NDE
  • Perform dimensional inspection
  • Report incoming conditions
Diaphragm Partition Major 410ss Repair
  • Cut back partitions
  • Weld partitions with 410 filler wire
  • Full oven stress relief
  • Grind partitions to correct area and contour
  • Complete area and harmonic analysis
  • Perform final NDE
  • HVOF spray partitions with GE DiamondTuff coating*
Diaphragm Partition Minor Iconel Repair
  • Grind partitions to remove damaged area
  • Weld partitions using inconel
  • Grind partitions to proper contour
  • Straighten and polish other partitions as necessary
  • Perform final NDE
Complete Diaphragm Dishing Repair
  • Machine diaphragm to remove weld at inner and outer rings
  • Mount diaphragm to stress plate, and jack to drawing location
  • Restore welds at inner and outer rings
  • Weld build-up packing bore and cavity
  • Weld build-up root radial spill strips
  • Weld appendage I.D. and dovetail area for radial spill strips
  • Stress relieve diaphragm
  • Machine the following areas to drawing dimensions:
    - Packing bore and cavity
    - Root radial spill strips
    - Appendage I.D.
    - Radial spill strip dovetail
  • Stress relieve diaphragm
  • Clean, deburr and record final dimensions
  • Perform final NDE
Diaphragm Partial Partition Replacement
  • Machine diaphragm to accept partial partitions
  • Weld and machine sidewalls
  • Set and weld in partial partitions
  • Full oven stress relief
  • Grind partitions to correct area and contour
  • Complete area and harmonic analysis
  • Perform final NDE
  • HVOF spray partitions with GE DiamondTuff coating*
