GE's digital laser inspection system can map elevations three times faster than traditional optical inspection, and is accurate to within one arc sec. Automated data recording eliminates errors and captures more data points than manual recording, further improving the accuracy of the measurements. Automation also allows instant data analysis. A "best fit" machining plane can be plotted immediately for minimum material removal.

The laser inspection system can be used for a variety of applications ranging from mapping turbine horizontal joints to inspecting foundation pads for motors. The speed and simplicity of the system allow us to develop a solution and complete your repair more quickly and accurately.
