Insulation Systems

  • GEGARD 300 HP-VPI
    • This stator coil insulation is used in new and rewound machines to provide the latest epoxy resin technology in ultimate electrical and mechanical protections. It is a fully integrated system where the insulation applied to the windings, the method of securing the windings in the slot and the method of bracing the winding endturns assure that the complete winding will give years of trouble-free operation.

  • GEGARD 500
    • The system is designed to have unlimited capability, from hydro-generator to gas turbine generator applications. Its advanced material technology allows the rigid insulation to fully re-establish the required flexibility by heating the coil during installation.

  • GEGARD 600
    • This is a full, class F insulation system specially designed for application in high voltage hydroelectric generators, using the latest materials and processes to meet stringent user specifications. The high molecular weight epoxy resin used in this system has shown superior dissipation factor results, as compared to other epoxy resins.
