Florence
Explore one of the largest and most diverse of the GE Energy Oil & Gas Manufacturing Centers, where gas and steam turbines, centrifugal and reciprocating compressors are built and tested. Observe the flow of our manufacturing cycle and the high-tech production equipment, assembly stations, and test rigs for producing large, advanced machines such as those used in LNG.
Massa
The key processes at our Massa plant are: fabrication and machining; high-tech welding; packaging and testing; and aeroderivative Gas Turbine overhauling. A short capabilities presentation and tour of the site will allow visitors to gain an understanding of the technology and processes used to develop and manufacture our products. The Massa plant is situated 1 ½ hours outside Florence (transportation will be provided).
