Personal Data protection Code

Pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 1996, concerning protection of persons and other subjects in relation to processing of personal data, we hereby inform you that you will be requested to provide your personal data.

Consequently, in accordance with art.13 of Dlgs 196/2003 it is our duty to inform you that:

1. Data to be processed are gathered directly from the person to which they refer (hereinafter called “the person concerned”).
2. The purposes for which personal data will be processed are:
   • commercial purpose
   • statistics and market researches
   • newsletters and commercial information sending concerning Nuovo Pignone spa and General Electric Company’s products and/or services
   • advertising, promotional and informative material sending concerning Nuovo Pignone spa and General Electric Company’s products and/or services even by e-mail
3. Data will be processed with the following means:
   • EDP system with hardware and software protection systems
4. Data may be processed with or without the aid of electronic equipment or automated systems. In compliance with the limits and the conditions set forth by art. 11 Dlgs 196/2003 , operations or sets of operations specified by art.4, paragraph 1, lett a) D.Lgs 196/2003 (collection, registration, organization, storage, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, utilization, interconnection, blocking, communication, distribution, deletion, destruction of data even if not registered in a database) and necessary for the processing concerned including communication to the organization listed under point 6) as well as transfer outside Italy to the countries indicated under point 7) herein.
5. The furnishing of personal data related to the data processing concerned herein is not mandatory but is indispensable in order to pursue the objectives listed at point 2)
6. Personal data, in respect of the data processing concerned herein may be communicated inside or outside Italy (see points 11 and 12 to:
   • BUSINESS BELONGING TO THE SAME GROUP (controlling companies, affiliates and associated companies, including directly held companies in accordance with current provisions of law)
   • EXTERNAL SOFTWARE HOUSES called to render their services in favor of the company Nuovo Pignone SPA
   • BUSINESSES SUPPLYING facilities and services
   • EXTERNAL ORGANIZATIONS in order to attend to fulfillment of all duties required to allow the person concerned access to the organization, inside and outside Italy, where the person concerned must go and/or stay,
7. The personal data concerned shall not be subject to distribution
8. The personal data concerned may be transferred outside Italy
• Within the European Union
• To countries outside the European Union
9. D.Lgs 196/2003 entitles the person concerned to exercise the rights set forth under artt. 7-8-9 D.Lgs 196/2003; see annex for more specification
10. Consent is strictly related to and bound by the communication to which it refers
11. The Owner of the data processing concerned herein is Nuovo Pignone Spa, with registered office at Via F. Matteucci no.2 50127 Florence, and the provisory Manager is Dott. Stefano Franchi domiciled at the registered office of Nuovo Pignone Spa
