The magnetic mount temperature sensor attaches to the transformer with a magnet. The sensor is self-contained and in a weatherproof housing. The RTD has a built-in 4-20 mA transmitter that is powered from the monitoring unit. The sensor is supplied with forty feet (12 m) of twisted, shielded pair wire (attached) and thermal compound.
