The i BOX i EVALUATE package is a simple and convenient way to evaluate the i BOX serial substation controller. By taking advantage of this program, you receive your choice of one of six i BOX models in either standard or monitoring and diagnostics configuration at no charge for 45 days.

Program Details

The i BOX serial substation controller is an economical substation controller combining advanced functionality, multiple communication ports and local I/O in a small footprint that is ideal for retrofit and upgrade projects. Its benefits include low unit cost, a rugged, compact design, a comprehensive protocol library and compliance with IEC® standards and North American IEEE® impulse and surge standards.

Both configuration options include the following firmware: IEC-870-5-101 slave, DNP3 slave, Modbus® slave and master, Calculator, Communication Watchdog, Accumulator Freeze, SOE logger and LogicLinx® executor. Both options also include ConfigPro and LogicLinx editor evaluation software, a power supply, a null modem cable and a WESMAINT cable for communication.

In addition to the firmware listed above, the standard configuration option includes a DNP3 master, and the monitoring and diagnostics configuration option includes an LTC-MAP™ master and a HYDRAN® master.
