Construction details - UTA elements only:

Hard polyurethane top (top-load styles only). Installs with Snapband Cuff (inset, top-left) or molded EPDM Gasket (inset, bottom-left) for secure element installation.

Standard inner core: Spiral formed expanded metal (available in galvanized steel)
Optional inner core: Spiral formed perforated metal (available in galvanized or stainless steel)
    iPLAS® integrated pleat alignment system
    Hard polyurethane puck bottom
  • Hard polyurethane potting compound
  • Spunbond polyester media
  • UTA Features:

    • Patented dual-barbed top seals into resilient snapband cuff, or EPDM gasket, virtually eliminating leakage experienced with other metal top designs.
    • Flange-style top allows immediate visual verification of positive fit of top and cuff in tubesheet hole.
    • Elimination of metal top allows pleat depth to be maximized to the specific tubesheet hole size. On average, 10% to 15% additional filter area is gained compared to conventional metal top pleated filter elements.
