About This Sample

This sample model, named HPFB, gives a model of a high-pressure (~100 bar) reheat cycle with five closed and one open (DA) feedwater heaters. The off-design case, HPFB3, uses a macro to control the boiler load to reach a desired plant output, as specified in a user variable. Another macro calculates overall boiler efficiency.

Note: This model can be run only in versions 5.22 or later.
