The CoaLogic software system dynamically matches the coal quality to changing operating and market conditions. CoaLogic software can help significantly reduce fuel costs by allowing you to burn lower-quality coals when your load is low, and higher-quality coals during peak generation needs without derating. CoaLogic software also reduces fuel-related derates, in particular those related to sulfur and opacity emissions, and thereby improves plant availability by properly blending coals based on their quality.
