Sensors & Pulsers

Focused on improving industry standard performance, GE has specialized in manufacturing high accuracy, rugged and reliable sensors for their MWD/LWD range of products, from directional sensor packages using tri-axial flux gate magnetometers and Q-Flex type accelerometers, to specially mounted Sodium Iodide Scintillation counters.

Over 15 years of experience with mud pulse telemetry systems plus recent acquisitions have provided GE with a wealth of experience that translates into a new generation of highly reliable pulsers that incorporate unique power efficiency features. This allows our customers to increase their productive time Downhole while lowering operating costs.

Directional Sensors

GE's Directional Sensor is a robust and compact survey instrument which provides highly accurate wellbore Azimuth, Inclination and Tool Face measurements.

Gamma Sensor

GE's Gamma Sensor uses a patented technique to suspend the sodium-iodide crystal within the hermetically sealed housing in a way that minimizes shock impact without sacrificing crystal volume. This results in high reliability and enhanced sensitivity.

He-3 Neutron Sensor Assemblies

The Reuter-Stokes helium-3 filled proportional counter (RS-P4-0806-207) is the most common thermal neutron detector for porosity measurement. Built to withstand the harshest of environments, our He-3 detector incorporates more than 30 years of experience in developing sensitive, accurate and reliable instruments for rugged, high temperature applications.

Retrievable/Reseatable Pulser
Servo operated, positive mud pulse, retrievable/reseatable pulser with high efficiency power usage exerts up to 10 times more force than solenoide operated pulsers resulting in high LCM tolerance and high reliability in extreme drilling environments.
