Overview
GE offers the Woodward control product family to complement our portfolio of GE-manufactured products for gas, steam, and hydro turbine controls retrofits. This versatile product portfolio is ideal for plug-n-play replacement of existing Woodward governor controls and can be easily expanded to encompass complete control and protection systems with auxiliaries, supervisory instrumentation, and driven load equipment.

Applications
MicroNet™
Woodward industrial controls feature MicroNet as a full-function control system. MicroNet is a VME based product available for gas, steam, and hydro applications in simplex, dual, and triplex configuration. It is typically supplied as a complete control, protection, and monitoring system with different combinations of I/O and flexible programming tools for adaptation to the specific needs of each site.

Atlas
Atlas-II™ are available for gas, steam, and hydro applications in simplex configuration. This compact control is ideal for plug-n-play retrofit applications such as replacing the air-fuel governor on aeroderivatives, extraction type steam turbines (505DE), or 3D CAM replacements on Kaplan hydro turbines. The I/O is expandable and augmented with features for generator and mechanical drive applications.

505
The 505 is a compact, non-redundant governor for industrial steam and hydro turbine applications with one or two control valves. It is applied on generator or mechanical drives with a finite set of I/O and preprogrammed configuration options. A two-line LED display is provided for basic operator commands and configuration.

5009
The 5009 is a MicroNet controller divided into three triple redundant sections. It is applied on extraction type steam turbines with preprogrammed configuration options.

Peak®150
The Peak®150 is a compact, non-redundant governor for mechanical drive steam turbines with one control valve. It has a finite set of I/O and has preprogrammed configuration options. An operator keypad is provided for speed adjustment, auto/manual selection, etc.

Related Products
Optional I/O modules compliment each product for functions such as synchronizing and emergency overspeed protection. There is also a variety of operator interfaces and software options related to the configuration and programming tools Graphical Application Programmer (GAP™). Woodward's turbine controls are augmented by a variety of related mechanical products such as actuators.
