GE can provide field inventory services to meet your exact needs. Asset Inventories involve physically locating facility assets in the field such as gas meters, utility poles and fire hydrants, among others. This inventory also involves recording attribute data related to objects in a database. Volume Inventories are done using a combination of field survey data and photogrammetric analysis of aerial imagery. Volumetric calculations are based on the physical dimensions of a quantity of material, such as a large storage pile of coal, gravel or other bulk product above the ground, or a reserve of unmined material in a quarry pit. |
