Land-based Protection

GE has a wealth of experience in supplying equipment for turbines operating on applications such as pipelines, LNG liquefaction plants, refineries, and petrochemical complexes. Many of these installations are situated in either high - dust environments or polluted atmospheres. For such situations, we offer two industry-leading solutions – the AltairSupernova™ and AltairLibrapulse™ filtration systems.

Coastal Locations

We typically categorize coastal locations as those within 5-10 miles (8-16 km) of the sea. A coastal location differs from a land-based site due to the presence of salt aerosols in the atmosphere. GE offers a range of specialised solutions to address the issues found in coastal locations, and systems such as the marinized AltairSupernova are prescribed to ensure optimum filtration.
