GE manufactures individual capacitor units for power factor correction applications. Ratings of 25 to 1,000 kVAR for single-phase units, 300 to 400 kVAR for three-phase units and 2.4 kV to 25 kV. Film\Foil Dielektrol® is the environmentally friendly GE non-PCB low loss power capacitor dielectric system with superior performance and reliability, developed to provide lower operating costs and greatly enhanced fuse coordination for the prevention of case ruptures.
