The GE Florence Learning Center is located in the industrial area north of Florence called Firenze Nova, in front of the Nuovo Pignone factory entrance. It is five minutes from the Amerigo Vespucci airport and 15 minutes from the center of Florence by taxi.
From the Florence Airport

The Amerigo Vespucci Florence Airport is 15 to 20 minutes by taxi from the center of Florence, and only five minutes from our learning center. Daily flights connect Florence to Amsterdam, Brussels, London (Gatwick), Frankfurt, Milan, Paris (De Gaulle), Rome and Vienna.

From the Pisa Airport

The Galileo Galilei Pisa Airport is 50 mi (80 km) west of Florence, and can be reached in about one hour by car or one hour and 15 minutes by train. The Pisa Airport railway station is connected directly to the airport terminal by an undercover walkway. Trains leave hourly from the Pisa Airport, and arrive at the Firenze Rifredi train station (the closest to Nuovo Pignone) in one hour and 10 minutes and the main Florence train station (Firenze Santa Maria Novella) in one hour and 15 minutes. Daily flights connect Pisa to London (Gatwick and Stansted), Madrid, Milan, Muenchen, Paris and Rome.

By Train

Firenze Santa Maria Novella is the main train station in Florence, and is situated in the city's center. High-speed, long-distance trains connect Florence with other Italian and European cities. Rome is one hour and 40 minutes away, and Milan is two hours and 50 minutes away. The nearest station to the Learning Center is Firenze Rifredi, which is a 10 minute walk from the Learning Center building. You can reach it from Santa Maria Novella; trains going between the two stations leave about every 10 minutes during peak hours, and the trip is five minutes each way. Regional trains coming from the north and west of Florence stop at the Rifredi station as well.

By Bus

Bus line #23 serves the Learning Center from the Florence center. A bus stop is located at the exit of the Santa Maria Novella train station. The direction to follow is Zona Industriale, and the stop for Nuovo Pignone is the last one. Tickets are not sold on board, but can be purchased at the ATAF ticket counter at the main train station or at any newspaper kiosk.
