Unlike routine activities with courses oriented on the single machines, CORE certify the ability of the customer's operators from a plant comprehensive operation point of view.

PEMEX has been the first customer to sign for a CORE training session, which started on March 5th 2007, in the Atasta plant, near Ciudad del Carmen, Mexico.

Two sessions of 27 days each have been organized for 10 PEMEX operators.

The course covers all the main characteristics of the Atasta plant; PEMEX operators, after a propaedeutic session on plant and machines, will attend a specific session on a Speedtronic Mark VI control panel, which has been specifically provided and commissioned for this course.

The training program includes exercises, simulations (run by a software specifically developed for this training session) and finally an individual exam with a GE Oil & Gas senior examiner.

This site-specific certification will give to the operators the highest level of preparation and proficiency and will support PEMEX in obtaining their core objectives of stable production and enhanced safety levels in plant operation.

This result has been possible thanks to the great job done by the Customer Training team, confirming the importance of Training in adding value to GE Oil & Gas offer and in building stronger long term relationships with customers.
