Horizontal Multistage Centrifugal Pumps

Designed for Maximum Durability

Horizontal multistage pumps are designed for high-pressure applications. The same internals are available with an axially split single case or a double case for light fluids or very high pressures. These pumps are designed with a back-to-back configuration to minimize axial thrusts at all operating conditions, thus guaranteeing pump reliability and durability.

Several units operate at speeds exceeding 5,000 rpm, and are driven by electric motors via a gearbox or by steam turbines. Rotor stiffness and axial balance make these pumps suitable for boiler feed applications.

This group includes the MSN, BFD, DDHF and MDW series pumps. The MSN and BFD pumps have axially split cases and are designed for heavy duty service in general, and pipeline applications in particular.

DDHF and MDW pumps are double casing end covered and therefore suitable for high pressure and low specific gravity fluids. DDHF pumps are usually used in hydrocracking processes, reactor feeding and high-pressure water injection. This pump is also available with an inner bundle cartridge that reduces maintenance downtime. MDW pumps are usually applied in high-pressure boiler feed water service in power generation plants.
