BFD type pumps are horizontal, split case, double suction, double volute, multi-stage centrifugal pumps. Suction and discharge nozzles are integrally cast with the lower half of the case, so the pump can be disassembled without disturbing the piping connections.

Features & Benefits

Designed for medium and large volumes, medium heads and high efficiency, BFD pumps are particularly applicable to pipeline and transfer service, but can also be used in applications requiring large capacities and high power, such as pipelines. They can be coupled to a variety of drivers including variable speed electric motors, diesel and gas engines and gas turbines. Applications include crude oil and water pipelines (midstream) and fertilizer plants (downstream).
