DVE type pumps are horizontal, single stage, double suction, double volute, horizontally split, double bearing centrifugal pumps. The double volute design ensures radial balance of the rotating element under all operating conditions.

Features & Benefits

They are designed for water service such as flood, firefighting and cooling. The advanced design gives high heads and high efficiency. The suction and discharge nozzles are integrally cast with the lower half of the case, so the pump can be disassembled without disturbing the piping connections. The double suction impeller is designed with a large eye area to ensure low NPSH requirements and reduce the possibility of cavitation. Applications include fire water (upstream) and cooling water (downstream and power generation).
