Center of Excellence for:

GE Oil & Gas through its Odessa Center of Excellence offers overhaul services for gas turbine engines and packages as well as field service, spare parts, training and package refurbishment of power generation, mechanical drive and gas compressor packages. We are fully equipped to support all of your mature Solar® Saturn® (T-1000, T-1200 and T-1300) and Solar Centaur® (T-4000, T-4500, T-4700 and Centaur H) gas turbine equipment.

Services:

  • Overhauls – full range of Solar® Saturn® and Centaur® lines including gas producers, power turbines, accessories and reduction gearboxes as well as boost compressor overhaul, repair and re-staging
  • Package Refurbishment – Saturn and Centaur packages including power generation, compressor and mechanical drive units, and packages built to your specifications
  • Exchange Components – supply of newly overhauled turbine and package components and ancillary equipment
  • Spare Parts – parts dispatched within hours of the request 24x7
  • Training – understand the complexities of the equipment and how to support the units in operation

Test Capabilities:

Our facility has four test cells: one each for the Saturn engine, the Centaur hot end drive, the Centaur cold end drive and one for full-load testing of Saturn or Centaur generator packages. We test against a 5,500 kW load bank. All of the units we overhaul are fully load tested in our test cells to record temperature, horsepower, vibration, airflow and other operational parameters.
