Online Bidding (eAuctions)The eAuctions tool is the platform for suppliers around the world to submit bids for material requirements specified in request for quotes (RFQs). It allows the procurement process to be concluded quickly after quality and delivery requirements have been evaluated. Note: Access to eAuctions is provided by invitation only. 
Order to Settlement (e-PO, e-MTS, eS&S, ERS)The e-PO tool allows suppliers to receive and manage their purchase orders in a secure environment. It gives suppliers direct real-time notifications and access to new and amended POs, a record of amendments and line item receipts and an easy way to update the promise dates on all open PO line items regularly. The e-Shipment and Settlement (eS&S) module collects and links shipment and receipt data to facilitate the automation of the settlement cycle, generating payment based on evaluated receipt. Receipt efficiency is increased because of advance shipment notices and bar-coded packing lists, and settlement efficiency is increased because suppliers will no longer need to create and submit paper invoices. The payment process begins upon receipt of goods and services. The eS&S module facilitates Evaluated Receipts Settlement (ERS), eliminating the invoice element of the traditional three-way match for payment. The ERS process allows for payment based on a two-way match between purchase order and receipt, reducing payment cycles and eliminating invoicing matching errors.
