Junior Officer Leadership Program

The Junior Officer Leadership Program (JOLP) is a unique opportunity to work in three 8-month rotations with GE Infrastructure's Energy, Aviation and Oil & Gas teams. Qualified candidates are selected to start their careers in a two-year cross-functional rotational training program, which includes both on-the-job and formal classroom training.

As a JOLP, you may perform your rotations in several different functional business areas. Through these exceptional rotational opportunities, JOLP provides you with broad business experience and exposure to the various core systems that make up these GE businesses.

JOLP is offered only to those who excelled in their military careers. General requirements include a technical degree, a highly competitive undergraduate grade point average, broad responsibility and leadership experiences and at least four years of commissioned service.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3.0 undergrad GPA with no graduate degree
  • Minimum 2.8 undergrad GPA with graduate degree GPA 3.5 or greater
  • Minimum four years commissioned service
  • Maximum of two years separation from active duty; waivable if due to pursuing higher education
